The short version
You can explore our games and printables without creating an account. Google advertising and analytics, security services and any external embeds may process technical information. Adults can contact us about the site or their privacy rights. Please keep children’s personal details out of messages.
1. Who we are
This notice applies to ForKids.Education, a website run by an individual using the site name ForKids.Education. ForKids.Education is the website name, not a registered company name. We are responsible for the personal information we collect and manage for this website. Independent advertising, analytics and embedded-content providers may also have responsibilities for their own processing.
For a question or privacy request, use our Contact Us page and choose “Privacy or data request.” This notice explains our practices; it does not replace a provider’s own privacy information.
2. Information we handle
- Messages you choose to send: your name, email, selected topic and message. We use these to respond, investigate problems, handle content concerns and process privacy requests. We do not add contact-form senders to a mailing list.
- Technical and usage information: our hosting services and integrated providers may receive an IP address, approximate location inferred from it, browser/device details, page addresses, referral information, interactions and timestamps. Cookies or similar identifiers may associate activity with a browser.
- Security and preference data: session tokens, consent choices, CAPTCHA verification information and temporary anti-spam counters. Our contact limiter stores a keyed hash of the connecting IP address rather than the raw address in its counter files; hosting providers may separately keep connection logs.
We do not ask for payment details, precise location, identity documents or sensitive personal information. Please do not send them. Locally stored game preferences, such as sound settings, may remain on your device until you clear your browser data.
4. Your cookie & advertising choices
We use Google AdSense Privacy & messaging to present applicable consent or opt-out messages, including European and supported US state messages. Where consent is required, you can accept or decline the optional purposes presented and change your decision later. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Use the button to request the Google privacy message available for your region.
For California and other applicable US state choices, use Google’s “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or equivalent privacy-options link/message when shown. You may also contact us about an opt-out or other privacy request. A recognised opt-out preference signal, such as Global Privacy Control, should be applied where applicable law requires it; browser settings alone may not change every provider’s stored record.
We do not currently change site behaviour in response to the older browser “Do Not Track” signal. This differs from legally recognised opt-out signals such as Global Privacy Control. We do not offer financial incentives in exchange for personal information.
You can clear or block cookies and local storage in your browser, though some preferences or functions may stop working. A choice may apply only to that browser or device; clearing storage, changing browsers or using another device may require you to choose again. For background on Google’s European requirements, see Google’s EU User Consent Policy.
5. Children’s privacy
Our learning activities are designed for young learners. Parents, carers and educators should supervise use and handle privacy choices. We do not offer children’s accounts, public profiles or chat, and the contact form is for adults. Please do not submit a child’s name, photo, school, address or other identifying details.
Third-party technologies may still process IP addresses or persistent identifiers, which can be personal information under children’s privacy laws. Where COPPA or another children’s law applies, collection must be limited to permitted purposes or supported by valid parental authorisation. An ordinary cookie-consent message is not, by itself, verifiable parental consent for targeted advertising.
A parent or guardian can request information about personal data relating to their child, ask for deletion or object to further collection through our contact page. We may need a proportionate check of parental authority. If you believe a child has sent personal information without the required permission, tell us so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate. See the FTC’s children’s privacy guidance.
6. Embedded content, CDNs & other providers
Some pages may load externally hosted scripts, fonts, media or games. A content delivery network (CDN), external game host or embedded service can receive technical information when your browser requests its files, and may use its own cookies or storage. An embedded game may have data practices beyond the controls on this website; check the identified provider’s notice before using it. Links to other sites take you to services with their own policies.
Our contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to help identify automated submissions. Cloudflare processes technical browser/network information for verification; our server validates the response before accepting a message. Learn more in Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. Our hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the site, secure it and deliver correspondence.
We do not make automated decisions about visitors that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Providers may use automated analysis to select ads, measure activity or detect abuse, subject to the choices and rules that apply.
Providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where European or UK transfer rules apply, transfers require a recognised legal mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards. Google explains its arrangements in its data-transfer frameworks information. We may also disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect rights and investigate abuse.
7. Regional privacy rights
EEA, UK & Switzerland
Depending on the processing and applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent. Our bases include consent where required for optional technologies, legitimate interests in answering adult enquiries and maintaining a secure service subject to your rights, and compliance with legal obligations. You can complain to the relevant data-protection authority; see the EEA authority directory or the UK Information Commissioner.
California & other US states
Where the relevant law applies to us and your request, rights may include knowing or accessing personal information, correction, deletion, portability and opting out of its sale, sharing or use for targeted advertising. You may use an authorised agent where permitted. We do not request sensitive personal information or use contact messages for targeted advertising, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable rights.
Online identifiers and usage information disclosed to advertising providers can fall within statutory definitions of “sale” or “sharing,” even where no money is exchanged. Use the advertising choices above and contact us for requests involving information we hold. We may verify a request using information reasonably needed to protect your data, without requesting unnecessary sensitive documents. If a request is refused, you may ask us to review it and pursue any applicable appeal process. Learn more from the California Attorney General’s CCPA information.
8. Retention & security
We keep correspondence for the time needed to handle your enquiry and necessary follow-up, and longer only where a legal obligation or genuine dispute requires it. Temporary abuse-prevention counters use a rolling period of up to one hour; expired records are removed through maintenance. Session and browser preference storage follows its purpose and your browser settings. Hosting, analytics, consent and advertising records follow their configured retention periods and the relevant provider’s rules.
Our contact form uses server-side validation, encrypted SMTP, CAPTCHA verification, request tokens, a spam trap and rate limiting. Credentials are stored outside the public website directory and are not sent to your browser. These measures reduce risk; no online service can promise absolute security. Do not send passwords, payment information or children’s identifying details.
9. Advertising & content disclosure
Advertising helps support the website. An advertisement is not a recommendation or endorsement by ForKids.Education; the advertiser is responsible for its offer. We do not ask visitors to click ads to support us. A third-party game or linked resource may be independently owned and governed by its provider’s terms.
Games and printables are educational resources, not individual educational, medical or professional advice. Some illustrations or other artwork may be created or assisted by digital and AI tools. Any future paid editorial placement or affiliate relationship will be identified alongside the relevant content rather than assumed from a general notice.
10. Updates & contact
We may update this notice as the website, providers or legal requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, material changes will be brought to your attention or new consent will be requested.
For privacy questions, consent difficulties, a child-data concern or a request to exercise your rights, use Contact Us and select “Privacy or data request.” Include only the information needed to explain your request.
